Pulled Pork BBQ

In honor of my recent trip to the BBQ captial of the country, I am sharing my recipe for pulled pork BBQ.  You can eat it in a sandwich or by itself, served with some homemade mac-n-cheese and baked beans like they do it in the south!  And it is super easy being in the crock pot!  For this recipe you will need the following:
1 lb of boneless pork ribs
2 tbsp of McCormick Grilling Mates Pork Rub
3/4 cup each of two of your favorite BBQ sauces, plus 1/4 cup of one
    1/2-3/4 cup of water

Spread the pork rub on both sides of the pork ribs.  Place the ribs in the crock pot and add 1/2 cup of water.  Then pour 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce over the ribs.  Cook on low for 3 to 3.5 hours.  If your crock pot needs more water, add the additional 1/4 cup of water.

Remove the pork from the crock pot and place it on a cutting board.  Using two forks, shred the pork, using a pulling motion.

Return the pork to the crock pot.  Then add the BBQ sauces to the pot and stir it all together.  If you like a a little heat, add a splash or more of your favorite hot sauce.  Cook for an additional 2 hours then enjoy!
